After 3 weeks of work this is my new ham shack. In this video, I’m sharing the planning and the results. Please like and subscribe. You can also do more by sharing this video with your friends.
The shack is not 100% complete since I need a little bit more budget to finish. Stay tune as in the next few months I will be constantly improving the gear and decoration.
Hope you like it!

Nice ham shack. Very well organized. I am currently in the process of obtaining my ham licence through the Surrey Amateur Club Basic License Course. You have given me a few ideas for setting up my ham shack over the next few months. I especially like the IKEA Table you used for a shelf and the Led back light for your video monitor. I currently have a basic config. using an existing IKEA desk and shelf fo my new ICom IC-7300, Yaesu FRG-7, computer, monitor and shack power supply. The shelf doesn’t run the full length of the desk so your ikea table looks appealing.

This is beautiful, Pascal, thanks for sharing! This information is very helpful to me. The "shack" that I'm slowly putting together is actually part office, part recording studio, and part ham shack, so some careful thought is required! :-) Thanks for the lighting tips as well. Thank you for the interesting videos. I have a suggestion: Because the room's door opens inward and takes up some wall space, you might want to consider replacing that door with a pocket sliding door. Doing so will free up that wall space for storage, another monitor, some shelving, etc. Just a thought. Keep up the videos! 73, Ken W8ASA

Love the videos, always a keen watcher, I am in process of building my new shack also but i have been very ill but it was you that inspired me to get the new 7300, 7610 and the 9700 along with all the matching speakers, I am not sure if you do this but for my 2 speakers on my 7610 i have a splitter cable on back of the 7610 which is one male mono to 2 x female mono and this enables you to have both speakers working either side of the 7610 so it is not so one sided or u can use it as one speaker per vfo, i like it best having it like stereo, it sounds really good when both on wide and it works for both VFO's or both receivers.. James G0SEC.. Let me know what you have it configured like. All the best and Merry Christmas, love the videos always enjoyable.

Hi Sean, I had a friend (he past away), that started ham radio after is son committed suicide. This helps him brought down his hypertension. It helps him a lot, there’s something about radio that feels you are at home, plus there’s nothing like a good warm feel of RF tube putting maximum output! Hihi. Before you invest in a Wires-X complete kit, try buying an HT with a DV4mini or an OpenSPOT. Most very active room in Wires-X are linked with a FCS reflector reachable with an hotspot. Then if you like it, you can invest in a Wires-X node. 73 Pascal VA2PV

Is it a beautiful shack. Like the one I have alwasy dreamed of building. Thank you for all the videos and keep them coming. Just wondering as a side note her. Which DV mode are you on anymore? C4FM, DSTAR, DMR... Have been looking for you on Fusion here but not seing you. I still cannot wait until Wednesday 3/4 when I will get my frist DMR HT. I probably will not go for DSTAR as it is just getting too exspensive to keep adding on. I wish the radios would get cheaper or maybe they can even come up with a single bander that is cheap like the FT-3200. If Icom would do that then I would complete with DSTAR. Well, 73 ad0am
