Except in this case of Gazans your parents violently stole the apartment then went to war with neighbors. They fled the stolen apartment to genocide the neighbors then fled the land in losing. They then tried to come back to the stolen house but did not have the deed. The Jewish family had the deed because they owned the home. I think the vast majority of the Free Palestine supporters would agree that Hamas is a terrible group and that it brings death and misery to Palestinians. From what I see, they are advocating a two-state solution based on signed agreements from both sides. If this occurs, what will Hamas be able to offer Gazans? A peaceful settlement based on 1967 borders would remove many of the reasons some Palestinians choose violence. People can hate Hamas and wish for Palestinians to have true self-determination... in fact, I think the two are deeply linked, since (as you mentioned) Hamas has silenced Gazan's political voices.

The question is what kind of "peace" because Israeli peace might be very different from the peace Palestinians are looking for. Same can be said of Ruzzia and Ukraine.
