For example, a lawyer who has strong religious objections to same-sex marriage might struggle to represent a client in a case involving such issues. There are thousands of non muslim, non-jews, and non christians that could easily take on this case.

Just look at their facial impressions. it's a bit weird to place yourself a few stages higher than two parties at war, which is naturally about life and death, and try to criminailize both of them. The chances are pretty damn high, that you will not succeed with this overplacement and usually it doesen't change anything. Usually countries send overhelming troops to end a war this way, like the US in Ex-Yugoslavia did for example.
