People underestimate the INSANE amount of pressure lewis puts on his competitors! So much so that they start making mistakes and second guessing themselves! Lando only went for softs coz lewis went for softs. If it was max who pitted for softs, lando would've 100% put on mediums but because it's lewis, "maybe he knows something that we don't" "why did he choose softs instead of hards?" Even the engineers knew that mediums were the right tyre but at that moment, their judgement was clouded by doubt.

why do people forget mercedes also had new hard tires? mercedes also didn't make the best decision as we saw hards were much faster than softs and mediums a little bit faster than hards had lewis and norris both had been on hard and mediums i still don't think it was enough to overtake hamilton because hamilton would have taken better job on hards norris chew his red tires lewis did not

Mercedes were the best team on the day. Lewis won driving the best car/team on the day. It was still a good drive but McLaren dropped the ball with their strategy.

He did. Everyone could see the pace he had, he was catching Russell just as the rain come down. That was the only time McLaren had pace till the end when they had lighter fuel loads. Red bull was of the pace and they come back with great strategy. If you think about it if Mclaren didn't get their strategy wrong and Russell was still in the race would max of done better than six.

Hamilton puts on the hards, he’d have pushed harder and Lando would’ve used up in tires in pursuit. Somebody needs to tell Lando woulda, coulda, shoulda works both ways!

It was very close at the end . I think Max would of caught him if there would’ve been 15 laps instead of 12

Max his hards were degging off big time at the end as well (his own admission) . Dont think any amount of extra laps would have allowed him to pass Lewis

When max got past Norris he closed less than a second in 4 laps then on the last lap Lewis slowed as he didn't need to push anymore. 3/4 more laps wouldn't have helped.

Respectfully disagree, if the race were 12+ laps longer Lewis wouldve been put on hard tyres. Red Bull never had the pace, Verstappen couldnt have out driven Hamilton as he had done to Norris.

Norris puts on the mediums, he wins the race. If Oscars' pace is anything to go by, think that would be a fair shout.
