Good stuff!!! Man Hammer is crushing it! I just got the NU Blue a couple of weeks ago and what a great ball on house shots and my buddy just ordered the Scorpion Low Flare and I can't wait to see it going down the lane. This new BW 3.0 has fantastic shelf appeal and in my opinion the best looking Widow EVER! I love my BW 2.0 but is hit or miss on house but this 3.0 with the HK22 might just be the ticket. Hammerheads are in Heaven let me tell you! Right on Hammer!!!!

Thank you so much for this informative video. What is/are the difference between the Hammer Scorpion low and any other reactive ball that drilled with low flare layout (I.e. 90x2.25x45)?

yes. low-flare layouts also add intermediate diff, which makes a shorter, sharper hook window. we don't typically recommend low-flare layouts on tour-style balls, because they already flare less.

Noted. Thank you for your reply. Clarification: Can I use, for example, Hammer Black Widow 2.0 Solid with low flare layout, or do I need to use a medium ball with low flare Layout? Thank you very much for your support 🙏🏼👍🏻

sure. strong and moderate asyms are great candidates, and so are strong syms. I don't recommend low-flare layouts on medium to weak syms.

I have a LF ready to pick up at my PSO. I bought it for a 1-2 combo with my Sting. My bag had the Dark Web solid and the Web Pearl (my favorite ball ever) but they stopped oiling the lanes before my league so I need a little more versatility with my 1st ball and I think the LF is going to be the perfect answer. Will Hammer ever bring back the green Web Pearl? If I would have known it was getting discontinued I would have bought a couple extra 😢

no plans for a web pearl, but the scorpion line will continue to have similar core strengths to the web series balls. if your center lacks oil don't be afraid to put a smoother surface on the LF to help it clear the fronts.

If I have a purple & black hammer, and scorpion low flare, is the NU hammer different enough to need it in the bag on short patterns?

i would say that with the purple and the black you are pretty covered for control reactions, unless you see an ton of shorter or flatter patterns in tournament play.
