With grandparents, it often depends on when they left and/or which side of your family they were on, etc. Even then, you're going to need to also fulfill other requirements, which are usually either financial or educational. I've looked into it. I have a Danish grandmother and German grandfather and neither help me out.

Im afraid brace is on point with this one. I knew about Gazi back before he blew up because I used to hang with the most INSUFFERABLE black leftists who all became movie critics for Kotaku and The Mary Sue and write only about the MCU. they treated him like a god because there's this weird idea among all POC leftists that aesthetics wise, the goal is and should always be to take the most myopic and esoteric stance and view anything that would make you appeal to the uninitiated as hostile liberalization. also, Gazi now comes off like the crappy version of Malaki York, the cult leader that got 153 years for doing jimmy saville stuff and is locked up in the same prison they have Terry Nichols and the Boston Bomber in

Make your message and discussions with people palatable. Leftists are associated with weird people and that they should just shut up about the environment or the inequities in our communities or the violence inflicted on the third world etc. What is true about organizing in real life is that you gain these skills. You learn to talk to people who may not use the right terms, but do understand that they are getting screwed. It takes work, but that's what is needed.

If food & shelter insecurity increases the coming few years (and probably forever due to top soil loss) we will see more of these strange tribal clans trying to to grass roots power moves. This could very well lead to localised war-like tensions. This is some unstable shit waiting to be pushed over. It would be funny though if some strange concoction or loose federation of tribes would unite to overthrow the eagle bearing coloniser. They would probably then unite into some new empire or reich if you will and become the 4th eagle bearing entity. They need to brush up on the science though, military logistics doesn't work based on indigenous knowledge systems.
