ok, this vid was made last week. I picked up one of these yesterday...very well built, solid, not polymer/plastic like some others. and with that added weight, i would think it would help buffer the already smallish recoil that the rifle will have. Thank you for the breakdown.

Have owned one for about a year. I like the rifle. Yes the trigger pull is heavy but H&K sells a 3 spring kit to lighten the pull. I installed them in mine and it did lighten the pull. Can't tell exactly how much. I don't own a trigger scale. The trigger group is my only complaint. It's a very solid rifle with a mostly plastic trigger group. But there are people who have shot thousands of rounds with no issues.

Trigger pull gauge shows 7lbs. The take down pin isn't captive--so be careful about losing it (for disassembly). The rifle is designed for different velocities of .22lr ammo. The rifle prefers STANDARD VELOCITY OR HI-VELOCITY rimfire ammo, but if you want to use SUB-SONIC ammo (800 fpm), or HYPER-VELOCITY (1600 fpm), use a 4 mm ALLEN WRENCH to screw in the back of the bolt (5:50) to adjust the tension of the bolt spring. IT IS NOT A PRECISION FIREARM AS FAR AS TARGET GUNS ARE--it's just a good gun to have fun with, but shooting small game would probably a stretch because of the heavy trigger pull.

I changed the trigger springs for a lighter trigger pull on mine and it's a absolute tack driver with regular bulk pack ammo I put a 4x scope on it and I love it!!

I bought one of these. Sold it and bought a Timmerman M4 22. I notice you didn't show how to remove the bolt for cleaning. That's because it's the pits to do. The Timmerman disassembles exactly like an AR, in all respects, and the bolt lock actually works, just like an AR. And just for grins, so does the forward assist.

You have to remove the flash hider in order to remove the "bcg" from the upper.

just got mine I've read online that you should not dry fire rim fire firearms as it will damage it but how will I clear the gun then? What has your experience been so far dry firing this gun if you do?

Yes, it has 2 set screws, so it can be removed. Not sure what all is out there for it option wise. Just will need to look around to see what you like.

This 22 is all metal, you can use regular gun lube.

Can a m4 tippman mag fit into the hammerli?

I don't think so cause Tippmann is the same receiver as a AR15. I believe Hammerli is a different design. Call Tippmann to be sure. Thanks for watching our channel.

@@JacobWinkle It's a cool 22 but I'm having issues with the accuracy. When shot at paper at 50 yards, I wanna say +6 rounds end up sideways (off target) when ripping through it which means its wildly inaccurate. I'm not sure if its low velocity munitions fault or if the barrel is damaged in some way but hope to get to the bottom of it on the next trip.

@@Vencarter I'll keep that in mind. I havent got mine yet. Still waiting the 10 day wait period but I got 1200 rounds of CCI ammo for it to shoot with. Ill see how that goes when shooting CCI through it. Im planning to get a Eotech sight for it soon tho. Might have to sight in the Iron sights when I get it.

I bought one of these through Simmons Sporting Goods in Louisiana. Ran 120 rounds through it and the extractor fell out. I have been trying to contact anyone about this gun. Simmons is worthless and I recommend that you stay away from them. So far I havent heard anything from the manufacturer/distributor here. It looked to be a good gun but it turned out to be a POS for me. If I get any response from the emails I sent I will be sure and update. For now, buyer beware.
