Our intent here was to comment on the disparity in available legion specific rights of war, but we can get a bit caught up in the moment sometimes! Regarding the ultramarines legion rule, you’re correct. we were talking about the logos lectura benefits specifically only being able to be utilized by infantry and how that encourages infantry heavy lists. And yes, I will get a PDF of the mission posted soon!

We agree! We've heard some rumors, but yeah, we're hoping that it's a big FAQ with points adjustments rather than full new books. Either way, I think we'll have at least another year or so of the current edition.

@@hammersanddice for sure, I think some ppl commentating in the community probably overstate where Heresy is at for GW, I'm sure it's making a fat profit but that doesn't mean they've got the time or the budget to start cranking out new editions every 3 years!

Totally fair! We hope that if/when a new edition comes out, the ruleset won't go the way of the recent 40k editions, if it does, I think a lot of us would rather stick to the 2.0 rules.

@@hammersanddice - Indeed, of cause I never count out new editions, but found out preordering 40k like I used to isn't a wise thing to do anymore, way better to wait 6-12 months and then see what people on youtube/forums say. :)

Thanks for the feedback! Our intention has never been to approach heresy with a 40k mindeset. We have spoken quite a bit in our episodes about specifically making an effort to avoid playing with more 'gamey' lists so that heresy games feel more fun than competitive. In this episode, we spoke about points within the context of reviewing the ups and the downs of this edition of the game. There are units across the legions that are at a similar power level, but the points it costs for those units vary drastically in some instances. I think it's fair to say that there can be some disappointment in a game when a 'rule of cool' unit gets crushed by a unit that's almost half the points. Our point was that in the future we'd love to see a points adjustment so that people aren't punished quite so much for taking some of those units.
