Its probably me but I cant seem to like these standard rims on the m140. That and the diffuser where my choices to change first. Although I like how you started. And its allready lower than mine. In the Netherlands its hard to drive it lowered

When you see your stunning M140 and the new M135 side by side you really notice the huge step backwards BMW have taken... from both an engine and styling perspective!

Good start! Personally find the Motech stance low enough the "+" version would of caused a few issues if driving on dodgy roads for me. How rubbish is the new 135 😀

Nice car. Your lucky in the UK. In Australia spacers are illegal even hub centric ones. If you have an accident it's an easy way for insurance to void your claim. If you want a different offset you need aftermarket wheels.

When I asked motech about my 1 series lowering springs they wanted to put like 35mm front 15mm rear... man be looking like he’s braking 24/7...

Does the wheel alignment / tracking need to be checked after you have the work completed?

The stock exhaust sounds great after 8K miles(Not yobbish) but most folk are not willing to wait that long thou. Can't vouch for the OPF set up thou.

Luke, why didn't you get a Remus exhaust? And how much will i need to spend for my M140 rear of exhaust OR system as a whole. Also, how much is the spacers and springs fitted at Motech? Thanks for a response- I need to know how much i need for stage 1 mods. Subscribed!

Congrats on your 1st modification, me personally would have gone with 12mm spacers on all four wheels,are you having a 4 wheel alignment/geometry check,or has fitting spacers made that impossible to do.Caliper upgrade next ?

How much is it for stance look

In terms of handling, what difference do the spacers make? I'm reluctant to mess with the geometry of the car, as I trust the Beamer engineers, so how does it improve, do you think?

personally i wouldn't do the exhaust. i would tho, do a Maxton design front lip and side skirts plus a down pipe and then go from there.
