The program includes a formal Welcome Session, Student and Parent Panel Discussions, and a few other surprises! The event also includes a guided tour of our spectacular campus. Fall Open House is a great opportunity for students and parents to acquaint themselves with Hampton University and discover all the great things we have to offer.
This year’s Open House features two prominent Hampton University alumni who have made their mark in the world of media. Allison Seymour, a long time media personality in Washington DC, will serve as the program moderator. Raashaun ‘DJ Envy’ Casey, host of the #1 nationally syndicated morning radio show “The Breakfast Club” and a 2020 Radio Hall of Fame inductee, will discuss his time at Hampton University.
Prospective students and parents will receive formal welcome from university ambassadors, and a performance from the Hampton University Marching Force. The video also includes messages from our visionary President Dr. William R. Harvey, university deans, and administrative and student panel discussions. Representatives from additional departments including - Fine and Performing Arts, Student Activities, Freshman Studies and other student services departments will also take part in the event.
