Hanayama Enigma Level 6 Reassembly

I made this as visually comprehensive as I could. I believe connecting the first two pieces, correctly, is the most important in the reassembly.
Great replay value, I think the "Enigma" is one of the top 3 most challenging, to reassemble, among the Hanayama cast puzzles. The "Quartet" and "Vortex" are equally as difficult, if not more so.

I just got this for Christmas and just by fluke, I think I got it apart...then I didn't remember how it was supposed to look like to begin with...Thank you - was able follow and stop when I needed to re-position the pieces...great job!

Hey there! Firstly, great video. But i think you got it wrong? It seems to me its revers because looking at the backside of the package the "spiral-pice-thingy" goes exactly the other way round.

Yes, you are correct. A handful of others noticed that as well. I may just remove this video because of that mistake. Look at the previous comment as well.

Tbh. I fucked up around 1:30 to 2:00 and dropped mine..... it ended up in the proper assembled construction. Well done video... how'd you know I'd drop it and make it right?

im trying to reset mine, never got it apart, and yet i have a piece that points in the opposite direction from your video... from watching other videos you are putting it back together the wrong way... your very first move is wrong. drop the loop into the base from the top, you bring it up threw the bottom.

Dude, when you joined the first two you clicked the long legs through each other, that not entirely correct. You can get them together without forcing them. Just spin it around a bit more

When putting the first two pieces together, you used a slightly forcing move. This is not the correct solution! There is a surprisingly tricky way to put the first two pieces together that requires NO forcing.

Thanks, but there is a smoother way, without forcing, to go from the 0:15 position to the 0:20 position.

you don't have to do the bend/snap when you go left with the long lever at 0:16

Hehe, and one piece in your solution is in reverse (or I messed up). I can't get it back in the box now, haha. More puzzle time!

Turtleman, umm, I think you did that, I didn't make you... LOL :) Perhaps you didn't follow it correctly. If you look at the reassembled puzzle on the video is identical to the picture on the box it came with. It is important to follow it, as this particular puzzle is easy to put together incorrectly.

Naa who dis is right, you have the piece with the slidy bit on it and without the little holes on like upside down, on the box the middle end goes through the middle home from the bottom, you have it going through the top (if that makes sense)

i forund the error, in the beggining the main piece with the slide should be facing the other way, other than that everything else is correct
