Hanayama Quartet Level 6 Reassembly - I finally mastered this and tried to make it as easy as possible because I have friends who have struggled trying to reassemble it as well.
Disassembly of the Quartet is fairly easy, but as with most Hanayama puzzles, reassembly is often more challenging, especially with their difficulty level 6 puzzles.

Best solution video I could find. It would be even better if you talked us through. There were 2-3 really tricky bits (especially 1'30" to 1'50"-ish) where you were tapping bits of the puzzle but I didn't know why. Without a verbal explanation I had to watch the tricky sections of the video dozens of times. Took me about an hour but got there finally. Thanks for the solution.

Now we know what Darth Vader does in his spare time... 😉 thanks for this. Managed to get it apart it about 45 mins (not sure how just a bit of a fluke!) But have spent have well trying to get it reassembled. Thank you!

I was frustrated the first time I watched this but soon realized this is the best Quartet reassembly instructional out there. If you are struggling at first, reduce the video speed, make sure you are identifying the obtuse and acute pieces correctly, and alway orient the pieces in the same manner as the video while you are watching.

I got the solution myself to take it apart but after 5 months I still coulnd't figure out how to put it back on, even after watching multiple videos. Until I found yours. Thanks so much! Great video!

Exactly the same here. I somehow got the thing apart, and have no idea how I did it, but couldn't for the life of me get it back together. I looked at all kinds of picture walkthroughs and video walkthroughs, some of the really long, but this guy's solution is SO clear and easy to follow. I agree: great video. Thank you!

you need to wiigle it a bit and not use that much force although some might be required. you can know when to stop if none of the four pieces are moving if the two are stuck then try wiggling or jiggling it

Holy ****, it took me a year of off and on trying to reassemble this thing even with videos. Until I found yours and I got in in just under an hour or so. D*** this thing. Thanks for the good video man, you did much better than most people at keeping a good camera angle on important steps. 1:30 was by far the hardest step because there is no way to get a good camera angle for that without multiple camera angles. Took me half an hour on that one step.

.25x several times through key parts and I still can't see it. Lighting/contrast is very poor. Narration would really have helped.

Highly challenging puzzle, opened it up myself. My one gripe about it is that the edges are not rounder which causes it to catch on rotations, chipping at the finish and making you unsure about every move. It's design also means any inconsistency in production makes a huge difference in the way it performs.

I got tangled so bad 1:37- 1:45, took 30 minutes to untangle the mess, gave up and disliked the video. But after a good night sleep, I rewatched it and tried it again, and BAM. Did it, so I returned the like. Don't give up guys! :)

K L nice. But you should never dislike a video because of how you perceive it. If you got frustrated, that shouldn't lead to a dislike. But glad you changed your mind. You probably shouldn't get a Revomaze, you would probably break it!

Exequiel Figueroa that's the final move. Perhaps you need to rotate the two pieces together around the corner of the others before turning them around each other?

If your looking for the easiest and fastest way to solve look for how to solve in one minute video. . The trick is the square with the righting on it in capital letters has to be done exactly as shown. Two pieces are angled differently and they go to gather. The one with writing in capitol letters needs to be turned a certain way as shown. This thing is almost impossible to put back together by counting on luck and even understanding how it works won’t help with out realizing you have to have that one piece in the right spot to solve.

At key moves, you do it very fast and you haven't been able to fix your camera focus. If you're doing a video on such difficult thing, you should pay more attention on doing it right.

Thank you for your input and your criticism. I suggest you pause the video to assemble your puzzle in the correct position before continuing. That should make it much easier to follow. I agree, this is a frustratingly difficult puzzle to reassemble, and it requires a lot of patience. It was not that easy to record, as the pieces are challenging to assemble. I tried to make it as visually comprehensive as I could. Please let me know if you find a better one out there. Cheers!

I can't get it ... I get to the 1 minute part and then i feel like an IDIOT. my hands hurt from messing with this stupid thing ... it taunts me with its math mysteries ... what angles do I need? Which pieces need to move after the 1 minute mark? It's not clear

Oh no! Honestly, I don't see how it can be broken without extreme use of force. Just remember no force is necessary. Be patient and try not to give into frustration. May the Force be with you :)

Daniel O'Donoghue It's not an easy reassembly. I suggest you try pausing the video until you get into the same position. It's a little over 3 minutes. If I posted it in slow motion, it would be to long and still hard to keep up with. solution = pause..

Why would you have an instructional video and NOT TALK THROUGH IT. Watched it on a 1/4 of the speed and like 10 times. No clue what he was doing half the time.
