She never controlled the elements, that was a result of both their powers clashing imo. They probably had about the same power since they where made "as a pair". In the end it wasn't that she couldn't throw him off into the air or in a building or something, but she stopped using her power. She sort of started to give in to him, but was still feeling very conflicted.

@@jeffdredd1172 I have always wondered this. Growing up, my sister would always bitch at me for leaving the toilet seat up and complain that she fell in. And all I could think was, do they just back into the bathroom and back up to the toilet like a truck? You need the barest hint of peripheral vision to know how blindingly obvious it is the seat is up. Why would you EVER sit ANYWHERE without first looking to where you’re going to sit anyway?? 😂🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

@@jeffdredd1172 It's mostly to do with societal expectations. Men are taught to put the seat down for women and women are taught that men should put the seat down for them. As this is normalized, generally, women learn to just not think about it and so it's easy to not notice because they never really have to. So yes, women have eyes. That isn't the problem. The problem is that women are taught to expect for the seat to be down and are taught to fault the men they share the toilet with for not putting it down when they're done. Even societal expectations such as these, which burden men, are sought to be broken in gender equality.

@@mechanomics2649 I think we all understand the sociological perspective but I'm more concerned with the outcome of the entitlement rather than the cause of it (that's a much bigger topic than toilet seats). Also, with all due respect, people pushing the equality narrative don't care for issues like this because equality is not the goal. If it was there would be no movement to begin with as we already have equality of opportunity in most civilised countries. Selective Equality is what we are aiming for now.

The weird thing is: The super-heroes are the protagonista of the movie, nobody question that and everyone understands; but, they are the ONLY weird non-human things in the movie. That weird thing in the middle of the street is a mistery, it shouldn't be there. And that's what it makes it more compeling than the super heroes, the mistery

The doctors tried to get some of his blood, but his skin broke the needle. He had a fractured skull, and that healed but his memories didn't stay with him. But, considering it was 1931, and he and Mary were married there was probably another reason why he had amnesia besides "stopping a mugging" that the doctors told him.
