Hi dude . Great videos. The last time I cooked conger I wrapped it in bacon put some spring onions or leeks cut up in there then some garlic and tomatoes herbs of your choice s&p and a bit of chilli then baked it at 200 for 30 mins it was about a 40 pounder I've had them up to 106 pounds and by golly they do fight. Keep up with the videos and I'll keep watching them see you soon all the best from Kent.

Jay, I can understand why you enjoy the seafood that you eat, but I will never understand how you can eat conger eels. To each his own. Thanks for your channel. It’s helping me keep my mind off my Dad’s passing today. It was expected but I really miss him. He was in hospital. I had hoped that he would have celebrated his 100th birthday this August. Great entertsinment watching your video. Remember many years ago in Jersey we used to get fish caught by a friend of the family. Often he brought conger eels and I remember my mother boiling pieces of conger in milk and making conger soup.with bayleaves. Once cooked leave the flesh to cool and dip in vinegar Great memories!!!!

I love your videos , man those are tiny cobger eels . Here in portugal i catch giant conger eals my record is 80 pounds... if you use that equipment here you only catch babys like that . All the congers are young . Once they reproduce they die all that we catch are virgin congers... i would love to fish with you and teach a few things about conger... older congers are not rock fish they swim across river entrances oceans etc ... the far you cast and the bigger the bait is the big the conger will be ... Stay good love your job

Get a piece of monofilament net wrap a bit around you'll have no problem catching a lobster. Try to use fresh mackerel for bait conger loves fresh mackerel. Great video

Cracking vid again! I've only had conger once in a chippy in saffron Walden! It wasn't the best sort of soaked up the oil! You dont get them up north on the menu! I do a bit of rock fishing of anglesey so will have a go at cooking it myself ! Looks good !👍

panko breaded and deep fried is the way to go with the conger. mash on the side. they make great fish broth as well.
