Remember that you also have a responsibility of making your own relationship work. I totally agree that as a couple you have to know and be understanding of each other’s differences. In handling conflicts, those are really just key differences between women and men. We, women, get relief from talking through our feelings. So we want our partner to have an empathic ear. On the other hand, men believes that it’s their job to solve a woman’s problem. So we really just have to be accustomed to each other’s methods of dealing with stress.
