You know what would be awesome? If you could make something akin to a Minecraft torch work using a battery powered flashlight for the insides but similar to this style! I’d buy it definitely!

Love what you have created, would have liked to have seen the finish product in the dark considering its a night light. I guess I'll just have to imagine 😌

If you wanted to get rid of the visible gaps between the pieces of wood, you could sand/plane them flat and use PVA wood glue for a barely visible connection. Looks really nice!
