Thank you so much Muriel!! That helps so much! I had no idea you could purchase 2" glue dots...it makes alot of sense now!!! I have been collecting buttons and lace...now I just need some glue dots! Stopping at Joann's/Michael's on Saturday in Green Bay!!! Thank you again for doing this for me!! They are just beautiful! My video is coming out soon...have 4 days off, so I'm going to read my video camera book!!!

OMG, I've sat and watched so many tutorials looking for one that's not too detailed or complicated---and now I've finally found THE perfect one. Your flowers turned out perfect and so beautiful.....you're a genious! Thanks so much for sharing this awesome technique!
@marybirder56638 жыл бұрын
+mary birder As I already stated how much I love these easy flowers, I've searched high and low on the net to find the 2" round Glue Dots, but no luck. Glue dots on a roll, refills for the dispensers, etc, but not the large size dots. As crafters, I think most of us are diy-ers by nature, so I may have come up with an alternative. Cut out a 2" circle from cardstock or cardboard and cover the circle with Aleen's Tacky Glue. Wait until it gets nice and tacky (just a minute or two), then begin to add your material just as MsCooperscoop demonstrated in her wonderful tutorial. Hope this helps!

I've been using glue dots for handmade flowers for a while, however I never thought to put the chipboard/cardstock backing on BEFORE I put the lace on it... There's so many ways to do everything! LOL TFS!!

Beautiful flowers! I have just purchased the supplies to make this, this past week and I was getting ready to SEW some today! I had no idea they made 2 inch glue dots! What an awesome idea I will have to look for those and try it your way! Wow! You make it look so much easier and a lot faster too! Your lace is gorgeous! Thank you for the tutorial!

I watch your videos A LOT, but usually either on a smart TV or my son's game system (it has a YT app), so I can't leave messages. This video popped up on my recommended list while I am using my computer, and I'm so glad it did. I have just a bit of that same trim and was wondering what to do with it -- now I know. Have a most wonderful and blessed new year -- I'll be watching !! Cheers -- Patricia

I have made a flower like this with a glubber from Cosmo Cricket but the adhesive doesnt stick over time and I find hot glue works better. I will have to see if I can find some of those glue dots. This is a GREAT way to use up those beautiful laces and trims. TFS

l had trouble getting my first layer neat and even until l traced a circle onto the craft paper before pressing it to the sticky circle. I can see the circle. use it as a guide and it gets covered so doesn't ruin the end result. l have never been good at just eyeballing things. Your video is excellent and the flower turned out so well. Thank you for showing us.
