Glad I wasn't the only one, my heart sank when he put on the decorative welt and I knew what was coming, all that work. Felt like that cow died for nothing, not even a blake stitch just glued it right on.

Yeah ... absolutely a kind of waste of craftsmanship ! As I said in my comment, if NOT whole leather sole with stitching welt and leather heel ... its NOT for me !

I was waiting to see how they stitch the leather to the sole. It's not , it's glued on. This video might do more harm then good for the shoemaker.
