I bought a custom made cutter almost like the one you have from Bud last month. I totally agree 100% with you. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my soap cutter. It is well made and Bud is the nicest gentlemen to deal with. I treat it like a valuable instrument that I can not live without now. He also sent me a little disc on how to change the wires and tighten them. He needs to make a YT site and put that on his YT channel. I would upload it to YT if he gave me permission to do so.

I just received my cutter from Bud!! I got the flat one and I LOVE it!!! I' want the m&p cutter as well!!! Bud is wonderful to work with!!!

thanks for sharing this! i've been dying for a log cutter for several months and this is the least expensive, and appears to be of superior quality, from all the ones i've seen! love that it is handmade and Bud seems great. my amazing boyfriend is going to order one for my birthday in a few weeks! i'll be 30. i'm over-the-top excited! the ones Bud currently has listed have HDPE bases just where the soap sits, and i'm getting a tank style! will try to make and upload a video!

Very nice soap cutter! But I don't want to buy one because sometimes , because of my embeds on the top, the the pre-cut size is often not large enough... I like to cut my own way cause it all depends on my bars Hugs! Chris

Hello, Melt and Pour is to dense and hard for guitar/thin metal strings to go through. That is one of the challenges I face when I use MP embeds on top of my cold process soap. It pushed the embeds down into my soap and won't cut through them :(

why can't you use the loaf cutter for melt and pour??

Nice for the price, Louise! There's a guy on Etsy that makes nice looking hardwood soap molds with fitted lids, at a very low price, but I haven't bought from him. They look great though. Designcrafters. I can't remember...did I tell you about that guy? I've never known why you can't cut MP on a soap cutter like this. Clueless on this end...lol.

I have waited too long for a cutter and I know what you mean when cutting by hand...I know you will love it and the price is right just google soap cutter and see how expensive they have gotten...well look at the price of gas too...lol
