Thank you for making this video. Its helpful for people that don’t have access to bubble tea shops! I’ve been craving for milk tea with bubble and I saw tapioca flour in the hypermarket. Will follow your sweet tutorial. Thanks again. Cheers

@lamipurpure79925 жыл бұрын
@@rimshining4237 yeah, that's how bubble tea shops prep them. They don't exactly take on more water - it'd be a disaster for your bubble tea if they did lol, so yes, they stay chewy.

I was so confused all this time thinking "why these tapioca balls are brown?" (Tapioca in my house is eaten in a different way) now I got it ! It's brown sugar 😂 revolutionary

Can I use corn starch to replace tapioca starch? (Just a pastry student asking)
@kxvarie5 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. If you use corn starch, the boba won't be chewy.

@d3vildoll6665 жыл бұрын
@@parkshem5998 im also a pastry chef, in somw recipes you can replace different starches. But in this specific recipe it's called "tapioca pearls" so you can't replace tapioca flour. In some type of sauce though, like a glaze, you can often replace corn starch with tapioca starch no problem.
