The only thing I find odd about Hands is that despite being 7 foot, 300lbs it takes him forever to barge a locked door but Johnny can do it fast AF. Even Maria can barge a door faster lmao

The only weird thing about him I would say is that it takes him 4 barges to barge open a door. You would think it would only take one for someone his size. Johnny is half his size and it only takes him two hits to barge open a door.

I have not witnessed so much stealth play since launch. Hands forces victims to communicate, and I kinda think that was their idea. Family mains know how important comms is in this game, but tbh as victim I rarely used a mic. That all changes now and I’m not mad 😅

When you use Hands's barge ability make sure your stamina meter does not go down to the red when using it because if you do that you're a permanent stun for 5 seconds so using scout tier 3 will decrease that cost and also leveling up the barge decrease stamina by 20% will always help with that as well

Finally a worthy addition to the family. Best part is you can use hands as a primary chaser or more of a blood support player. He’s my 2nd favorite after Cook.

I think tapping it when they're about to close encounter and get close to you, if you hold it then it charges but i don't think it's worth it unless maybe leland barge. tapping and charging them first seems to work

Hands is class, I usually trap the fuse box, car battery and generator. Bone scraps can re ive the traps which is annoying as it doesn’t inform you.

Confusing mechanic should be meta for him, once you get level 3 with extra trap charge turn gen off at start then ripstall so it's trapped and takes longer to turn off as well as the extra trap for the other objectives and dinner bell will be strong for him. I also like the unique breaking perk he has.

That's unfortunately not how confusing mechanic works. It "just" increases the time between turning the car battery/generator back on and the time anyone can interact with it again. So if the interaction cooldown is like 30 seconds, with confusing mechanic level 3 it's 45 seconds. And the perk is being active from the start of the game. No need to turn things off and on at the start.

and you can remove and reuse the traps like hitch can. They can be removed by bomb squad or a shank. I only know from watching others play. And the barge he has is like leland's barge but needs to be timed as you said to be use offensively not defensively, what happened there in game 1 was he barged you while you did the same. EIDT: you figured out the trap removal.

I feel like removing the fuse and closing the panel should just be a normal mechanic for the whole family just take a long time. Same with the valve it’s weird how you can’t pull off/out objectives. I mean they could make it take awhile if they want Hands to be the quick version that can go through Danny's tampering.

I am a bit confused on hands “heart attack” perk, so it says increase bleed out to 180 secs, does that mean like when they get zapped or barged they take bleed damage overtime for 3 mins? or something to do with vics being incapacitated

I think they will not let him re-activate his electrical devices eventually and probably re-work his ripstall ability a bit, as he seems to have too many things he can do currently.

nah the defensive barge is more than defending against barge, you get into a ready position like a line backer, and any that run into you or when you release or run out of stam like a second later, you slam em, i wonder if you can push over two that run at you at the same or close to same time

I really like that their being more creative with their characters, but I feel like Hands needs a bit of longer cooldown. The fact that his ripstall destroys the fuse or valve means that their now a limited exit. I expect we will probably see some number tweaks soon

at first i was gonna complain that Hands shouldn't be able to get grappled like Leatherface but then I saw his ability and holy that is op as that not only hard counters danny but it also just invalidates valve and fuse unless they do both at same time.

19:10 if Danny had another fuse he could've inserted it & it would still be tampered & ripstall would be on cooldown giving him time to escape. On FH theres always at least 2fuses in the house. But u have to do it within 1min

The physics bother me. The mass on Hands means that in any struggle he could literally just keep leaning on the victims and they’d literally crumple under his weight. The size dynamic is disturbing

Too bad Hands couldn't break wall gaps. Since Maria is alive, maybe Jesse(Virginia's son) might still be alive and next victim? 🤔 The Cook isn't needed for Family House any longer. Hands, Hitchhiker and Nancy is the meta. Hands can trap gates so he can trap the back gate. 9 total traps locking down the house at least, and with Nancy's Pins And Needles perk possibly 10-15 traps between those 3.
