Thanks for the reaction. I am the BESTY (fan name) of BE:FIRST fans. Their voices were so well matched that they looked like a group of 15! BE:FIRST is a group that specializes in live performances, always singing live with hand microphones. I'm an Atiny. On first listen, the chorus absolutely grabbed me, but I had to sit with the rest of the song for a couple of listens to have it gel in my head. It's funny you mentioned NCT because I have to do that with a lot of NCT experimental tracks, too, so it definitely had that vibe for me. I really like it and it did make me start checking out Be:First music. As I said in another reaction vid, the production on this is so interesting to me for exactly th reasons you mentioned - it's unusual to have full group collabs, and they really did merge the Korean and Japanese production teams for this collab. I cannot recall ever seeing such a complete full group collab in kpop previously - usually I've seen partial groups, or one team is mainly in charge of the production, or they bring in outside producers for the project. This was really unusual, and I hope we see more collabs like this.

This was without a doubt the most seamless and cohesive collab I’ve ever listened to. They didn’t sound like a collab at all they just sounded like they’ve been together forever. Can’t give it enough praise. ❤

This is really THE COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR!! I don't think I have ever heard of this type of collaboration from 2 different countries and different agencies... The scale of this is AVANT-GARDE and Guinness record. The MV has so much to unpack. Very creative. Mindblowing collab!!!

Great reaction. It’s been said and I agree that Ateez and Be First are so evenly matched that they could almost be the same group. Ateez management, Hong Joong and Mingi wrote the lyrics for the song. It’s like they wrote it specifically for Be First. Fun fact: Sota (the opening Be First member) was a backup dancer for Ateez at K-Con Japan in 2019.

SKY-HI, executive producer of this music is very famous rapper and CEO of the BMSG, developed in 5 years ago. So, the verse Shunto rapped "underdog" .ATEEZ is absolutely global artists with 6 year oversees career and BE:FIRST is just about to go for it. But BE:FIRST are making great success in Japan, representative, J-POP Boys Band.. SOTA gripping the train is a rapper and lead dancer, who won HipHop International dance competition for 4 times. Both group has the same views to be topper of the music scene being themselves, being unique (no one like them), and go beyond stereotype stuff, breaking through by their abilities. Please check their Mainstream and Masterplan. Masterplan is quite dope Japanese drill hiphop tune.
