Idk why this kind of pure and sincere brotherhood is so rare to find now. Like suju is all very forgiving and laid back. What happened to them back then (the separation and the law suit etc) was not exactly the members faults and idk i think they're so mature to understand that, so they still maintain relationship like this without hatred.

In my opinion, Hangeng is Heechul’s closest friend in Suju aside from Leeteuk. Whenever I watched Suju’s variety shows where Hangeng was still there, Heechul rely on him the most and Hangeng genuinely cares for him. I’m still sad just by thinking that they are coutries away from each other. I wish Hangeng will visit South Korea and other suju members too in the future!

Heechul gives the vibes of that one friend that you invite to a party and doesn't let go of you because you're the only person they know x'D I'm so happy to know that they somehow continue getting in contact with each other SuJu 13+2 Forever 💙

I think the reason why suju has this great brotherhood is because earlier they were just a project group not a permanent group so they all do have that factor in back of their mind that later they will separate and do their individual work. Therefore they created a special bond and enjoy the time they had together to the maximum

Aww this is the type of heartwarming news we need to see more often. I've always admired how Heechul and SuJu in general don't give an f about meeting/mentioning their former members or even fellow artists who left their company as well. I wish this was the case with SNSD and Jessica, but since SM acts like she's Lord Voldemort, I highly doubt they ever mention her again, at least not while being under the company.

I think it’s different with Hangeng and Super Junior. Hangeng and Super Junior never had ill feelings towards each other. They knew exactly what was going on and Hangeng never wanted to leave SJ those were his brothers. Even Leeteuk said he would love all 13 members to be reunited again. Hangeng has no ill feelings towards Lee Soo Man as well. He even thanked LSM when they were in the same event. He didn’t have to but without LSM we wouldn’t know who Hangeng is. I think it’s different with EXO, Kris never told them and just left them quietly which made them really hurt. So when people say they want Kris and Yixing to be like Hangeng and Heechul. Heechul knew when Hangeng left it was hard on him and it was hard on the other members. With EXO it was different, I think EXO is still close to Luhan and Tao but Kris is a different story. As much as I want Yixing to talk to Kris and Kris to talk to the other members maybe it might never even happen and I’m not trying to be mean but the way I’ve seen past interviews of Kris it seems like he doesn’t really want to be in contact with them and doesn’t even want even mention them.

I'm running through their old videos these days and it's kinda break my heart and how much more to them because of some circumstances :(. Happy to see many ELFs here. SJ was once my world and it hit hard when Hangeng had to leave. Seeing Heechul going through all that was tough and I've always admired how he would continue mentioning Hangeng on and off when I'm sure SM would have tried to stop members from mentioning anyone booted from SM. But we all know how Heechul is and given Heechul's closeness with Hangeng, I'm so glad he continues honouring Hangeng through his mentions. True friendship is difficult to find and it makes me happy knowing Hangeng will always have a friend in Heechul and vice versa. Hangeng was the first Chinese to promote as a Kpop idol. He indeed paved the way to many more Chinese being Kpop idols. Hangeng had virtually zero friends and family to relate to whenever he had troubles. He had to learn a completely new language and culture, and was treated very differently from his Korean members. I remember when Henry and ZM were added to the lineup and the amount of hate they got were terrible. In one of their international tours, fans would chant Henry and ZM's names and often times they were so touched they cried onstage. I may not be a hardcore ELF anymore but SJ will always have a special place in my heart.
