I discovered cal late last year and truly he is such an inspirational and one-of-a-fucking-kind artist. The art I do is a completely different field but his ambition and drive motivates and fuels me to keep striving for my own goals. Honestly jealous of y’all getting to hangout and know the man for a day. I hope mine and his paths will get the chance to cross one day, until then though, I’ll stay a true and loyal “friend” and always keep an eye out for his new music and videos 🙏

I think the craziest part for me is the last few seconds where he talks about not really knowing anything technical about recording. He just learned how to make himself sound good. Its wild because when I hear his songs and some of the things that happen in them, my first thought is always to assume he is super knowledgeable and technically inclined in recording. Makes him even more of that underground legend. Also, knowledgeable is a weird looking word.

Fuhhh when he said that shit bout killing insects that's fo real. I use to always kill spiders outside my door but end of last year I just let this one be & it stayed there 4 like weeks & I didn't mind eventually it left though & don't know where it went.
