Hank Jr. fell off a mountain while shitfaced drunk and busted his face all up. Had to have a lot of plastic surgery which made his face weird looking, apparently.

Trust me, this is a VERY romanticized version. The reality is that most of these strung out pillbillies would stab you for the change in your pockets just to get their next fix. Boggles my mind that people can watch a pregnant women crushing pills to snort in a hospital bed and find that appealing on any level.

My grandma had dementia and she loved Hank. She would sing him to me all the time as a lil girl. When I could drive I would rescue her for a little and we would listen to hank iii. She loved it. Heehee
