In this video, we look at all the amenities and activities available within the campground and nearby. We were "practicing" RVing to get ready for our full time RV living here in November 2019. We loved it so much, we went again once we were RV Living Full Time in our Grand Design RV in March 2020.
I am a Pisces and lover of water so my favorite features of this park are the lake and the beach which is just a short 15 minute walk away. I also road my very first ferry to see a sunset at another beach close by and the Kingsland Plantation. Enjoy.

8AM - 8PM [April - October]

Early bird and annual passes required for entry from 6AM - 8AM, prior purchase required
Last entry allowed 30 minutes prior to park closing time
Camping
Tent camping = $20.29 per day, including tax
RV camping = 33.81 per day, including tax
Cozy cabins = 33.81 per day, including tax (Two night minimum stay required.)
NOTE: All payments for camping reservations are final and non-refundable.
The Beach - 1.5 miles of sandy beach with multiple access points and home to the premier surfing spot in Northeast Florida, The Poles.
Dolphin Plaza - An ideal oceanfront location for a family reunion, wedding reception or corporate outing.
Biking and Hiking Trails - Hanna Park has over 20 miles of trails for the hardcore mountain bikers and the entire family to enjoy.
Fresh Water - A 60-acre lake and open to fishing, kayaks, pedal boats and canoes!
Good News, Memorial Day Weekend, 2016, the Hanna Park Campground Store and Concession re-opened under the management of Adventure Kayak Florida. You can obtain needed supplies such as firewood, ice, etc. as well as snacks at the Campground Store. Also, there are kayak's and mountain bikes available for rental. Follow link for store hours.
Kids Splash Park - Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, it's the perfect place for kids under four feet tall to cool off in the summer.
Extras! - Picnic areas, facilities for cookouts, reunions, retreats, and other group activities. Please note that reservations are required.
Park Guidelines
Fee is required for re-entry
Alcoholic beverages, glass containers and fireworks are not allowed in the park
Open fires and grills are not permitted on the beach
The collection, destruction or disturbance of plants, animals or park property is prohibited
Do not feed the wildlife
Pets are permitted in designated areas, must be on a leash eight-feet or less, be attended and well-behaved at all times
Swimming, powerboats, castnets and night fishing are prohibited in the lake
Golf carts, ATVs, motorbikes, scooters, go-karts, skateboards, chainsaws and generators are not permitted in the park"

We love Hanna park! Great videography. It's nice how you are able to speed it up and still explain everything. We brought the kids to the splash park and lake. It's so nice how it's basically in the middle of the city but feels like in the middle of nowhere. Fort Cinch State Park is another amazing place to visit.

I’m glad the video helped you, we like to make this kind of video because we get frustrated when we are looking at a campground and there are no good views of the actual sites online. We actually refer to our old videos when we are booking again at a campground we made a video, is it big enough, does it have shade, is it in an awkward area, you can only tell these things well in a video that shows all the sites. Thanks. Huguenot has no tree coverage. Hanna does, but the roads in the campground last time we were there were in terrible condition and they hadn’t trim trees in the street or at our site. Our 35’ barely fit - so size up if you can. But the location is amazing. So much to do there and close by, Alice

Chuck, it is a great park, but the spots could be tight. Also, the last time we were there, the roads in the park were poorly maintained. But walk to the beach and to the lake? You can’t beat that. Enjoy, Alice

The Kayak Launch at Hanna is designed for disabled kayaker's and is called an Adaptive Kayak Boat Launch. Just thought I would share something I just learned :)

Thank you so much for stating the approximate walking time from the campground to the ocean. That is such valuable information to those who have mobility issues. Many times the distance from the campground to whatever feature the park has (springs, river, ocean etc) is left out of campground reviews. We have to really try hard on the narration, we dont have an awesome voice like you naturally, lol. We use a Blue yeti, microphone, I am a lot louder than Alice so i have drop my gain by 6db.

Such a nice park and great location. However, so much deferred maintenance with the facilities. It's a city of Jacksonville park and clearly they need to invest in some repairs and renovations.

Frank, you are so right. The roads in the park are terrible. And they need to trim so an RV can actually fit through the narrow roads and in sites- super tight. Washers and dryers need to be added, too Alice

Chad, there are some big sites, but the roads in the campground are tight. You might want to call them and ask. This campground isn’t really big rig friendly. Let us know what happens, Alice

They definitely should put some time and make new in to upgrade the roads and facilities like the laundry. It’s really the location - walk to the beach and lake that makes it a popular. It’s a city park.
