The way that Hannah was treated before Zach, I could understand why Hannah is more guarded, but Zach was a douchebag at first but the way he was trying to reach out before she died was heartbreaking. Zach is a complicated human being he did bullied Hannah but one thing for sure is that he has a heart and he was trying to make things better. It is really complicated, hopefully in the second season (If there is) we can see Zach's progression.

honestly, I ship Hannah and Clay, but I also ship her with Zach. I hate how people show great dislike towards him, yes he did her wrong to her at one point, but he was just frustrated because like, he did try reaching out to her. she pushed him away, and while maybe he shouldn't have reacted how he did, he was honest about what happened and truly felt bad unlike others. so, I loved this video, Zach is great. and I think he and Hannah would've made a really cute pairing

Also he admited that he said some nasty things about Hannah like the other guys. There are reasons why Hannah didn't believe him. I mean, how can people blame Hannah?
