Hey guys! I've moved into a new apartment! Here is the run down, quick catch up of what's been going on and why I'm here, and a little tour and thoughts about what my plan is for this apartment (and a little glimpse at how my brain works when I'm redecorating a space). Hannah with your sewing skills you might want to consider buying a huge drop cloth and making your couch cover. Just be sure to wash and dry it first in hot water so that its pre shrunk before you start ✂️ and sewing.

Just a couple tips on caring for your plants when you get ready to cut them back or whatever your doing, do it around mother's day, and also repotting them also, and when you move them they get use to that kind of light for a long period of time, you can put them in shock if moving them to either more light or not enough, just be careful doing that, I took horticulture, and I love my house plants also they put out alot of oxygen, good luck

Did you paint? I still am diggin' that light sage color. Painted an apartment I had that color, with a gather muslin curtain wall covering, and 12ft raw wood vaulted beam ceilings. I like your aesthetic and palette choices. Oh, and the bangs, rocking the bangs. Looks like an awesome love nest. The two of you have a bright future. I see great opportunities to come for you both. Hi, Hannah! I was thinking that building a frame around the mirror and then hanging it on the wall where it is might be nice. Or you could start by building and finishing a cool frame.

Your apartment is super cute and has lots of light, it looks like! I live in an attic apartment too, and the slanted walls, while aesthetically interesting, are such a pain! I can't tell you how many times I hit my head on them when I'm in a rush and not thinking about it. And I've just had to accept that I can't hang pictures on every wall :/ I don't know if you got a cabinet yet for the living room, but I have a similar space like that and I recommend Ikea's console things. They're the perfect low height and I can still fit a lamp and turntable on there.

Such a great space with so much potential, how lucky that you have that as an option! Are you going to paint the trim black again? I was surprised at how lovely it looked in your old apartment. Regardless, that space will look even better once you finish all your projects! Have fun!

It’s a blast redoing a small place trying to make it more livable definitely need more plants hard when you’re living with two people to make room for each other stuff you can do a lot with paint a drill a small saw and a hammer also it’s great to have a homebase with you guys camping a lot it’s nice to come back to a place good luck 👍🏻🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out

Hannah, butchers block would be beautiful, but have you seen the concrete counter overlay on pinterest or youtibe? It would be A LOT cheaper. Butchers block is pretty expensive....but gorgeous. Just wanted to let you know in case you haven't seen it, and it seems like your taste.
