6 Common Hamstrings Workout Mistakes:
1. Leg curl machine
Don't swing the weights up and down. Do controlled reps, every rep should count!
2. Dumbbell stiff leg deadlift
Don't lock out your knees, have slightly bent knees. Work with a straight and steady back.
3. Leg curl with a dumbbell on a bench
Place the knees just outside the bench to activate the quads to the max. Slow and controlled reps.
4. Single leg stiff deadlift
Don't lock out your knees, have slightly bent knees. Work with a straight and steady back.
5. Cable pull-through
Take control over the exercise and do slow controlled movements. Slightly bend your knees, don't lock them out. Don't bend over your back. Work slooow to find contact in the hammies.
6. Back extension hamstring focus
We are using the back extension machine to target the hamstrings rather than the glutes, which you usually do. Point out your toes, if it helps you. Stop when your whole body is straight, do not overstretch your back!

After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

So glad you addressed number 3. I tried it once and it felt impossibly uncomfortable, I didn't even do a full set. Also, I love how strong your body looks! Great arms!💪🏿

Great training tips. My son, daughter and myself love this exercise. We have come to realize the key to really getting great improvement on our squats is to training the hamstrings just as hard as the quads.

Thanks for this. Because of covid and my vulnerable housemate, I've had to workout from home instead of the gym for a year now. With only resistance bands at hand, videos like these are helping me try different workouts that I hadn't considered in the gym due to better equipment.

Nice video, good to refresh and think about your positions when working out. Sometimes busy days can make one rush through a work out not paying full attention to correct position, but also good knowledge for beginners. I like your sweater! Pretty in pink!

Hanna! First of all, I love you! You are my favorite fitness icon! You mentioned that there are many variations of exercises that can be done on the back extension machine. Would you show all of those? You could make a video and pick out a few machines and show all the different exercises that can be done on them!

I did the exact same haircut I had 3 yrs ago I liked it short for 4 WKS, and I couldn wait to have it long again, so I bought extensions, Hanna can put extensions in and it’s wll be long again, soo no worries.MY Hair in my mid back long Iam loving it
