One of the few films that gets better with rewatching...best ever performance by TC and the rest of the cast were absolute Perfection. Deserved much, much greater recognition.

I've never been in Japan, but I wish to travel there someday. Somehow I feel connected to the Japanese people, they seem very cultivated and considerate to each other, not sometimes rude like people in other parts of the world.

Even today I listen to this magnificent song and I can't help but shed a tear. sublime and wonderful it gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it. that movie was great. totally respectful of the Japanese culture and extolling it as it deserves

I truly believe that the scene when the wife put the samurai uniform to Tom cruise, is the most erotic, romantic, and so full of different kind of feelings that makes me sometimes hurt and I can’t see. It touches me so hard in my heart and makes me realize the fact that I never had ever imagine that existed that passion. I never had even the smallest percentage that, in my hole life. That’s why hurt’s so much.
