Applying chromaticism to changes can be a challenging task. By using 'forward motion' and chromatic cells, we can outline the changes using an entirely chromatic approach.
Now that you have constructed your chromatic cells, as we learned in the first video, we can start to daisy chain these cells together to effectively outline any set of changes. Reframe the changes to think 'intervalically' and use these intervals to place a matching chromatic cell. This will give us 'forward motion' (Hal Galper) and guide the ear through the chromaticism towards the resolution.
