Turning 30 -35 years with no marriage, job or kids in sight often makes one to feel less of a woman or a man. We often question our identity and struggle to define who we are and what is our purpose when we have not yet achieved certain milestones by the time we hit 35.
In this video, I share my journey and discuss how I deal with societal pressures.

in my case I don't look not my age (30, some think I'm 21 and I can get away with it) so those questions have not crept up but within the dating space is highlighted (you're grown "colt" woman) it hits me like a ton of bricks, like whoa, am I really that old? i am at a point in my life I don't have anything of "value" to say defines me (endured delay, set back and set back, however, I've been active in aggressively in prayer alone). I can't even think of marriage at this point without fulfilling the Proverbs 31 type of woman. Including being fulfilled with toiling with my hands for his glory. In the waiting it is the most bittersweet experience.

“All your promise are Yes and Amen” haibo a word! 🙌🏽 Thank you for this reminder, needed to hear that because wow, I’m slowly learning to detach my identity from a job, productivity, gadgets and all these other material things. Our identity should be in Christ and how he sees us. PS - You look stunning 🌻

Great message. We also end up qualifying God based on our own plans or the fruits of others in our age group. We end up wasting time or being unfulfilled or hurt in our faith or life because we seeking milestones not the kingdom. ❤️

Thank you sis for the video I enjoyed it. What I have learned this season of my life is to be humble because it is truly humbling to not fit into the mold of society. I really got to trust God and to know my worth and identity because in Christ Jesus I am enough. And lastly I have learned to be fulfilled, God knows best and it pleases him that as his daughter what truly satisfies me is his presence and his goodness basically I'm eternity focused because I have come to realize, that is the most important thing.

That has been my plate of food everyday, I sometimes feel like giving up. Everyone you meet, when are you getting married don't you want children??? It hurts
