I’m glad Silent Hill is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Don’t get me wrong, I like Resident Evil. But nothing to me, can beat these psychological gems! Well..Parasite Eve is pretty close, but that game for me is just another masterpiece😂 I love how it sounds similar to ‘Day of the Night’🙏🏻

Thanks so much! Funny you say that… I’m about to put up a Parasite Eve track! Loved Yoko Shimomura’s work for both games. Childhood memories for sure. Wish PE was getting a remake/remaster. Cmon Square! Lol

I just think that most companies are terrified of not making enough money, after coming out with a game that could be relatively expensive to make. But I’m sure when they first made the game, they didn’t think the success would be so high. So they mine as well go for it, just like they did when they made the first one! And awesome, I can’t wait to hear it! ‘Out of Phase’ is my favorite song from Yoko’s work on the first game! Parasite Eve, more Silent Hill’s and The Suffering are the top 3 games I want remade😭

Yes, "proper" is the keyword here.... I just want to play these classics in next-gen. No need for extra fluff! RE4 was great though... dare I say I enjoyed the remake way more than the OG (was always my least fav for some reason next to RE6). Stay Tuned for 'Altered Mitochondria'! Glad there are more PE fans out here!

used to walk to school some days in the early mornings, it was always extremely foggy outside and the streets were empty... part of me felt at home because of silent hill. listening to this took me back to those days all over again...

It's crazy but I even know what's in there without seeing what's in there. The store is deserted except for a Robbie mascot suit with the face shoved in one of the fryers. At least you hope it's an empty costume. You don't want to investigate this any further.

Honestly this felt more Ghost in the Shell 1995 than Akira Yamaoka (not enough twang.) Still very chill and pleasant ambience. Using it to write up some good ol horror.

konami fucked and screwed silent hill franchise, capcom did do that to resident evil. sh is dead, but i just can't find a reason to love re. sh, especially 1 and 2, really mean something to me.

I believe we as fans can find something to love about any SH if we put our minds to it - probably one of the reasons we keep coming back for more... this fan base is filled with passion. SH means so much to me as well, so I can relate with you and the rest of this community I'm coining "Family".
