That was beautiful and a meaningful idea to ask the mothers of Morrow hill about the true blessings of being a mom. I’m always a bit tearful on Mother’s Day because, though I always wanted them, life circumstances prevented me from ever being a mom. However, it also makes me remember a very special Mother’s Day. My dear mom was still with us on that particular Mother’s Day, & my sister drove her 60 miles to the restaurant where I had to work that Sunday. Grace was my manager, & she told me to sit down & have brunch with my sister & mom. So, they celebrated with me because they said I was “Mom” to a whole lot of cats over the years. A lot of my tears are happy ones, as I remember how they made that day so special. I miss my mom more than ever & that’ll never change. I pray that everyone appreciates the “moms” in their lives today; we owe them everything, including the gift of life.

My parents traveled with me and my siblings around the country. I really appreciated that they did this for us. After they passed away, I knew I had a great childhood experiences. We had as a family, the love that they showed us.

I always say mother's day is to honor the Mom's dealing with special kids. That 24-7 care that they require should be honored. GiGi should be proud of the fine family she created. She's very lucky to have great grandchildren at such a young age .

What a beautiful video. My best mom advise. ..never rush through their young years. Time is the biggest gift you can give them. My babies are 36, 32, 31. Their biggest memories is me takong them camping., 13 years of coaching baseball, having all their cousins come for sleepovers, and things we did spontaneously. To thonk of those things now brings me to tears. What i wouldnt give to do it again.
