Closest (yet) I´ve come to a Manurhin was when I was employed at the local policestation as a garage mechanic here in Sweden back in the early eighties. Back then they had Manurhin made Walther PPs as their side arm. I got a few chances to shoot them since I knew the armorer. Well made stuff, they are made to Walther specs so no surprise anyhow. But these revolvers are a different breed and class all together!!! Fantastic stuff indeed!!! I one wants one, finds one, GRAB IT!!! As a revolver guy I just love this channel. Small but with quality content!!!

Congratulations! I sincerely hope that you'll really enjoy this very fine revolver! To give you a comparison with the European prices, the current price in Switzerland is 3098 CHF ($ 3'634). The price is more than 50% more than when I got mine. The local price of a NEW Python is around 2570 CHF ($ 3015). the MR-73 is not mass produced, it needs more than 12 hours of manual work by very experienced armorers. Even here, you need to order one. But delivery may be a lot faster. I never had the opportunity to hold and try a Korth. but I had the opportunity to extensively shoot an old Python. The double action of the MR-73 is a lot better than the DA of the old Python. The Sa of the Python is a tiny little bit better than the one of the MR-73. But just a tiny little bit. My 5.25" MR-73 is as accurate as my Haemmerli 208. I get very similar results with both The MR-73 is light (comparable to the weight of a K-frame). But it is extremely strong and some of them are still working very well after more than 130'000 hot 357 cartridges. There are also special models for ISSF competitions (the MR-38 match and MR-32 match) The fit and finish of my revolver is magnificent How does it compare with a Korth? I don't know. But it is an absolutely excellent revolver and it's already a privilege to own one.

Happy New Year. Glad you’re still posting videos and that it’s another year of the revolver. My current pursuit is a Ruger Super Redhawk in 10mm with 7.5” barrel. Very limited, unlike a .44 magnum. My local FFL gets a few every few months, they’ve put me on their list. I know you have the S&W 610 4”. I considered and it’s more widely available even in 6”. But a lot of people who compared the two said the Ruger is more durable so that’s what I’m after. Looking forward to more revolver content. Perhaps this is the year you change the name of your channel LOL.

You might be right about 2024 being the year of the revolver, a lot of shot show videos I saw were about new revolvers.

I’m with you as 2024 as year of the revolver. I just got a new 5” python and plan to get a 2.5 python for edc in coming months. Currently carrying S&W model 65 3” 357mag And also carry a snub nose model 360 S&W 357.

I am looking forward to the review, I have 2 Korth Mongooses (357 and 44 magnum). They are 4” and 3” respectively. I love both of them. I have the 38 special cylinder and 9mm cylinder for the 357. I have to admit, I shoot more 44 specials out of the 3”. I have been eyeing the Manurhin for some time and it will not be long before I lock into being obsessed just as you have been.

What I'm most interested in is the search for concealed carry options. With this revolver being made for military and police use, I'm sure there are at least a few duty holsters. To justify the purchase of one of these excellent weapons, I must have suitable options for concealed carry.

Congrats man, hope yours won't have some of the issues that seem to plague the models beretta sent to the US though... Mine has been running pretty good and has the double action set under 7lbs and basically experiences like 1 light primer strike at most on every 1000 rounds, had to wait 1 year and three months before it arrived after putting in the order though...

As a college student I have no idea why I would sell a gun.

God I want a manurhin. But damn Id want to carry it alll the time and can’t justify carrying such a beautiful gun. Let alone knowing it’s gone if I’d every have to use it.
