Trixie being gagged that Katya turns down gigs when Trixie knows that Katya's work policy is "She's here, she's upright, and she's wigged" is so hilarious to me.

Katya--you can write your own will, but not on the notes app. It must be handwritten, not typed, to be considered valid (and even then, it is much more likely to be found legitimate if written by a lawyer, conforming to proper forms). Also, it would be so much easier for your family if you get a lawyer who knows what they're doing with trusts and estates to create a trust for your property because you both have significant wealth, and the probate process is not simple or cheap.
@emilycross8994
@emilycross8994 2 жыл бұрын
Also get it notarized!!
@lauragardnert3679
@lauragardnert3679 2 жыл бұрын
Also wanted to add, I study law in Scotland, and here a signature is typically required for a will to be held valid and enforced. This would be good practice in other legal jurisdictions too. However, it is best to get a solicitor to draw up your will as your executor - if you have the money it is definitely much easier than doing it yourself.
@rzl712
@rzl712 2 жыл бұрын
Laura Gardner Yes, thanks for adding that. A signature is required in most states here, too. Obviously the best advice is do not write your own will if you have the means to hire a lawyer!!! But if you are on a tour bus, and it occurs to you that you might die before you see a lawyer and are able to get a will properly witnessed and executed, a handwritten, signed will is valid (even with no witnesses or notarization). A notes app will, on the other hand, is garbage, mama.

A little inside tea - in Greek Orthodox Christenings, the babies are dipped so violently so as to try and get the baby to cry. The priest also pours oil on the baby’s forehead, most of which will end up in their eyes (which stings like crazy) and causes them to cry. Another practice (although less common nowadays) is for the priest to subtly pinch the baby to get it to cry… mothers have even been known to ask the priest themselves to pinch the baby during the service. Most of the ceremony is focussed on the renunciation and rejection of Satan from the child’s body, it’s said that this is most successful when the baby cries as it is a sign that the evil is in fact being forcefully and reluctantly expelled. In Greek folklore, it’s said that a baby who does not cry during it’s Christening, will grow up to be an evil and unholy child. This superstition, along with the mother’s neurosis about her family’s image and what people in the community will say about her or her child, is often reason enough for her to endorse the priest’s attempts at making the baby cry.

It's not a reenactment, if you've ever been to an Orthodox baptism of a baby, for reals.

Make sure you remove your address from the public record because it won’t happen automatically, you have to request its removal. Any weirdo with access to Whitepages can find your address with very minimal information unless you actively remove it.
