Bad management comes to my mind too😂😂 I'm an SM stan, literaly out of SM i only stan Black Pink. SM has the A list artist, THAT'S A FACT, but SM SUCKS AT MANAGEMENT. The past years I don't understand how they are really working, they suck at promoting their own artist. You can be all talented but if you don't get the right promotion you are not gonna get on top. Thankfully as SM has a complete legendary background, their artist make it even with bad promotions. I wish they could explode all these kids talents to be on top again

@@katepark4355 but I think they promote less because of the competitive market. We all know that since 2011+ yrs, more and more kpop groups debut. The promotion was better before because the kpop market only revolved around the big 3, and only their artists succeeds. We may think its less promotion and exposure but in fact, even old SM artists say treatment is better for their new artists. Before, a lot of fans complains of overwork, now that they are less exposed, they're underworked. Exo definitely felt neglected especially after the 3 chinese members left but not for the rest. My problem with SM was always the musical freedom as well as low wage. But the fact that most of their 1st & 2nd gen idols are still on the company, has even shares and treats their dongsaengs well meant for me that the company might not suck as everyone thinks. The mistreatment always comes when the company becomes big, because the business aspects expands which makes things difficult for marketing, sales, financial, connections, etc.

They r not even best selling sm group ‘all time’, exo still holds that title. Ur faves only has one album sell good for a subunit, not a whole group physical sales, exo as a group has more physical sales, if add all solo/ subunit they have much more sales.

Not to mention exo got these sales with only nine members. They were the first sm has six million selling albums, first group ever in kpop to achieve 10 million copies
