Woodcutting tip from Scandinavia; when you want to split logs and the blade bites, reverse the axe with the log embedded and perform the same motion but with a big over the head swing with a lot of force, landing the flat side of the axe on the chopping block. The log attached to the top should split if done correctly

@@AntiquityforAll I think it’s called the Nordic chop or the Norwegian split or something, look it up on KZfaq. There’s a technique to master but when you get it right you can split big logs with two swings.
