A couple of observations: There are 2 set screws to keep the motor assembly from rotating. The other one is about 4 inches north of the one you pointed out. By using both, you won’t need to tighten down the one as much. You should put the set screw for the ring that holds the rack in place on the opposite side from the rack itself. This allows you to get maximum pressure on the rack and the table will wobble a little less while you’re moving it up/down. Also, you can’t get enough force to properly seat the chuck using only the press itself. You should use a dead blow hammer and a block of wood to get it really seated. I do like the idea of using the press to get it on straight though... Thanks for posting this! It helped me make the decision to buy.

I cannot change my belt settings since I cannot turn the belt tension lever clockwise to reposition the belts. I wonder has anyone experienced this? When I went into my local Harbor Freight store, I was able to turn the lever on the floor models. Have I done something wrong on my end setting things up?

Thanks for the vid. What was it you brushed on the bolts that attached the base?

Anti-seize to keep the bolts from seized up from corrosion.

Mine is HORRIBLE. If you just turn it on, spin it and measure with an indicator, it's not bad, the problem comes when you put it under load - the bit vibrates so bad it destroys the work. No round holes with this pile of junk.

Any updates?

Land of Ling Update video should be coming soon. Has worked very well for me in multiple materials. Aluminum, steel, wood, plastic. Only time it stalled out was with a 1” drill in steel. Which was kinda expected.
