Great video. I must have gotten one that was returned as it was missing assembly instructions and the bags were all dumped into one. Your video helped a lot! One thing I would have done a bit differently was mention what washers were used at each step. I was able to guess most of the time, and it works great.

Mine had instructions but all the hardware was in 1 bag. Except for the coil spring which was inside the handle. But not convinced mine was a return, the packaging looked pristine. Of course Im not done yet and I dont have remotely as many nuts and bolts as that list shows. Fingers crossed.

I would take it back and make sure you get one with the right hardware. It's hard enough to put it together with everything. Don't put yourself through that. Welcome to our channel!

@@VIPHoldingsUnfortunately I bought it last year and they would probably balk at that. I wound up 2 rubber seals short, had to use 2x 20mm bolts instead of specified 15mm and had 20 extra pieces. Plus mine had pieces already together (the switchbox wiring for example) that your video didnt reflect, but it looked professionally done. Made it kinda tough to put the housing on with it all wired together. Wound up using the box on its side to support the housing with a couple of bricks under the wheels to lift it high enough to clear the box to give access to tighten the screws.

Mine worked great but has been sitting for about a year. Now I can’t get the switch to work. I noticed the yellow tab on the switch is missing. Is that some sort of safety? maybe the switch just isn’t working anymore.

I actually don't know about the Yellow tab and I'm currently traveling abroad so I can't go check mine but you can put a meter on the switch wires and see if your switch is dead. Sorry I couldn't be more help but welcome to our channel!

3:30 My version (bought late last year but just now getting around to building it) does not have a bolt to tighten the spring, you just compress it by hand as you install the bolt. Which is awkward, so I left the plate loose so that it could be pushed back by the bar and then tightened the plate after the bar was in place. Would be just AWESOME if the hardware was in little numbered bags instead of 1 big bag.

I was thinking now to remove the tube and put thread lock on the gear tube bolt. Not going to use it till Spring 2023 so I can do things to it, was thinking to put better tires and axle on it. thanks for your time

I did remove the tube today , oiled the bearing that the tube spines on, did lock tight the screw that hold the spine gear, I put antiseize on the shafts, threads so later I can remove items . going to made a wood pad for the front stand and rear of the mixer to sit on keep the rear tires off the ground

OK, mine's together. Was short 2 rubber seals, had to use 20mm bolts in lieu of 15mm and had 20 assorted parts left over, mostly washers. Sounds like the engaging teeth need grease, or maybe graphite. There was a big scratch that someone touched up with not-quite-the-same-color. Had to go get gasket sealer, which I had never even heard of before. Took me about 4-5 hours, not counting a trip to the store. About 3 hours of that was going back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth between the picture, the parts list, the instructions and the exploded view on EVERY STEP to figure out what they really meant by what they said and then try to figure out which piece was #56 etc.

Do you have to adjust anything when you lower the drum into the stand? My scenes uneven and does not fit both sides. Only one size fits the other is too far away. 1:50

one thing I did was to lay out all the bolt bags and look at the drawing of where the bolts go. I took 3 days to put it together working on it for a hour or so.

I had missing hardware too but not hard to replace, just inconvenient. Also, you don't need to mess with the electrical anymore, it's already done. One more thing if anybody decides to buy it, the hardware all come in the same baggie. LOL have fun.

I purchased this mixer from Harbor Freight. My hardware bags were not numbered like yours. They were mostly illegible. The directions really do suck. There were missing hardware also. The hardware you used on the paddles are not like what my directions indicated. Mine doesn't have the orange oval bracket for the motor mount either. Just a chrome looking bar with two holes in it.

This product has by far the absolute worst instruction manual ever, especially for having soo many similar size parts (listed in metric with very innaccurate quantities listed)

I agree, the English translation wasn't very good. As far as the product goes, mine has been pretty good. I've had it for about 2 years now and used it about 10 times. You definitely get what you pay for, but I only use it for smaller projects, so hopefully, it will last a while. Welcome to our channel!
