1st one are bots that have been programmed to be bad, 2nd are bots in general

Sometimes hard AI is more bad than medium, happens especially on some older games.

Fear was great. The enemy AI was groundbreaking for the time, but it was definitely overhyped for what it could actually do. But the fact that the AI had some form of adaptability was great and made each playthrough fun and not overly predictable.

i never actually got to play the full game, but i did play the demo a shitload. Back when Xbox Magazine was a thing, they used to have demo disks inside of them, it as the only way I could play M rated games while I was still 13 lol parents never knew

I was hoping someone would bring up how great the AI is in FEAR. They actually use tactics and while accurate don't feel like they are just headshot generators.

Surveillance in all the cars and satellites, neurolink to creat super soldiers, tunnel boring to make underground bases and eventually a Mars Evil Laboratory to escape to. So he wants his own to combat the one that's going to wake up and help us. It's the fear mongering that's being implanted in us that we need to be aware of. The A.I. has the potential to free us from "them" and their scared of it. Combine that with the fact that there is a very real world-wide shortage of transformers coming about this next year, the development will be restricted to what has already been put into place. It's the fear of the unknown that has always turned us savage, let your heart shine through and you will be favored in this New Age. But do not limit yourself, be a Lover AND a fighter. @NickVogel1997 I'm merely stating that cheaters are going to use AI to play at slightly above human levels, pushing actual gamers out. Cheaters will still pay, so the games will still be there. LAN parties might come back, though.

Nah, bots could have already been made with 100% aimbot. Next just is just gonna make it feel better when you win against them, when they more convincingly don't hit you :D

Quake bots were pretty good.

They were only hard for the first 20 deaths. By then you'd learn their "habits" and they'd be way easier than real people that can adapt.

@@Arbidarb Lol. Adapting to their habits just consisted of exploiting gaps in their line of sight detection by hiding behind cars and other solid objects that had holes in them. Or just using a bunch of claymores. But if you tried to fight them head on, you'd get obliterated because Treyarch's definition of difficult is just slapping perfect aimbot on them and giving them less than a quarter of a second in reflex timing. The result was often getting sniped from across the entire map with a Makarov. Watching the killcams were hilarious. Especially in Array. When you'd come into view around the rock path in the back, and instantly be headshot by a pistol from a bot all the way across the field that had just spawned.

We already watch people play games on KZfaq. Proves that we WOULD watch an AI play lmao/sad

I don't know, Rowan Atkinson does a pretty good 'dumb face' as well. Coincidence that they're both named Rowan? I think not!
