I was surprised that I found your videos of life in the Carpathians so familiar to me. I grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State in the 1950's, I knew Boletus mushrooms (and Amanita Muscaria - very BAD, by the way), and recognized Beech (?) leaves, packing loose hay on a wagon, and the sound of chopping wood ( it was a resonant hardwood: Beech?) We didn't have much money, so we grew our own potatoes (and other vegetables). and a pig and. on occasion. a cow for meat, and, of course, chickens for eggs and meat. We had a rooster, named Gandalf, who looked just like the one you showed. So, being the eldest daughter in a family with 6 children, I was the one who peeled many, many, many potatoes each afternoon for my family's supper. I do not wish to be impertinent, but I see the women peeling potatoes with knives. I had a "potato peeler" which was quicker and took off less of the potato, It has a tip to gouge out the dimples on the potato. You use it with the same motion as peeling with a knife. ( Several city people have praised my ability to quickly denude potatoes!) Are you still in touch with these people? And would it be appropriate for me to send a few "potato peelers" for them to try out? These "potato peelers" are not manufactured any more, but are available on Ebay. and I would be happy to buy a few to send for them to try out. Please let me know. Take care. Lynda Proper Hector, NY

Спасибо за видео. Посмотрела с удовольствием. Какие трудолюбивые люди. Внучек молодец !!! Так ловко помогает бабуле!!! Как ловко она справляется с лошадью! Видно как они любят животных! Переживала только за большую белую собаку, которая постоянно была на улице. Сами погрелись, поели между делами, а я все ждала,когда и собаку позовут домой и накормят. Чистота, порядок. Приятно и спокойно после просмотра. Смотрела и вспоминала как меня в детстве отвозили к бабушке на летние каникулы. Здоровья вам и долгих лет жизни!

Bên trong ngôi nhà còn đẹp hơn nữa, gọn gàng ngăn nắp và cũng đầy đủ tiện nghi.Thích nhất là chiếc lò sưởi được xây trong nhà vừa ấm áp, vừa đun nấu rất tiện lợi . Tôi cũng đặc biệt yêu thích mùa đông tuyết trắng của đất nước bạn,tuy lạnh nhưng đẹp lắm, đẹp một cách tinh khiết vô cùng. Yêu cuộc sống của bà và người dân nơi đây! Hi Nazar - another great video! Thanks. Is this the home of your other grandma? It’s a different house, with far more facilities and animals than shown in the ‘Lonely Grandmother’ video I watched earlier. This home is adjacent to others, in a ‘village’ setting with close neighbours - whereas the other was much more isolated. Obviously, I can see that the ‘grandson’ ( yourself?) is the same person - incredibly kind, loving and caring towards your grandmother!

Well at least this grandma has electricity a TV and phone... it's still a hard life and I'm not sure I can do it, actually I'm pretty sure I couldn't. The horse is loving its time outdoors as there isn't a lot of room in that stable. All the other animals are snuggly in the house and the poor little white one keeps getting shut out... I'm sure they are all dearly loved...It seems like a never ending task stoking that fire with wood..Grandma you have my full admiration. 😊

This is a beautiful farm, with an older woman that still manages to keep her animals fed & happy. My husband & I once had a farm, when he was still alive...I so miss the sounds & feel of that little farm. It was purely Heaven on earth! So nice to see her grandson so willing to help her out too...that's how it should be for all families...visiting one another & helping out the older generation.

Случайно попала на этот канал, но он меня заворожил! Не могу оторваться от просмотра ! Вспоминаю свою бабулю, по которой тоже очень скучаю. Свое счастливое детство рядом с ней…. И конечно же автор видео… Проникаюсь огромной благодарностью и уважением! До слез! Sentí mucha tristeza viendo el video de la abuela de 92 años que le hizo comida y todo y luego se queda sola... agradeciendo que la hayan visitado, qué triste que no tenga un nieto o nietos que quieran acompañarla y ayudarla todos los días.... y ella todavía se preocupa por su vecina que no sale ya por sus piernas... qué triste, ahora voy a ver este video pero creo que igualmente me hará llorar.... Mami murió a los 87 y yo solo pedía a Dios que me permitiese vivir hasta su último día ya luego yo podía partir... pero aun estoy aquí con 63 y sola quizás debería pensar irme a las montañas con una abuelita de esas....
