In this film, we will tell you the incredible story of an elderly couple of engineers who met a happy old age in a mountain village located far from civilization on the border with Romania.
They live in the village of Tarasivka, Transcarpathian region of Ukraine. Grandpa's name is Anton, he is 79 years old. Grandma's name is Maria, she is 78 years old.
This story is a testament to how people can find happiness and peace in simple things and nature. You will get to know their everyday winter life, where they take care of animals in harmony with nature.

My family has always said if you work all day and come and take care of things that you need to do, then you will be tired, sleep. People would not have the time to get into mischief and crime. Мои родители тоже в ауле живут вдвоем.Дом благоустроенный,все благи цивилизации есть.Держат коров,огород сажают.Зимой времени по-больше на отдых и ютюб смотрят по мимо хозяйства.Им за 70 л трудяги,ну нравится им жизнь своя.В город не хотят и мы ездим,папа сам за рулём приезжают.В тишине живут 😊мама готовит любимые их блюда и с папой чаёвничают.Зима закончилась и теперь заботы-хлопоты начинаются у них.Ну не хотят перемен😊им только в радость,движение-это жизнь говорят.Не трогайте нас😊Как сил не останется,тогда и переедем в город😊Так же и герои видео😊здоровья и сил желаем.Любовь и уважение сохранились 😊любо-дорого смотреть ❤❤

Solange wie man in Bewegung bleibt und Aufgaben hat, hält einen das am Leben. Ich kann ihre Eltern verstehen. Wenn ich sehe wie schnell die Menschen die ins Altenheim kommen, wo sie keine Pflichten mehr haben, verfallen. Und wie rasend schnell dann ihr Leben zu Ende geht. @@coyotedustthat is correct, a lot of people don't realize the US is not just what is shown on most media. Even in part city, part rural areas people still live like this. My husband and I moved into our first home at 18 and 19 and we feel very blessed to grow our own food, have a small bit of land as a yard, and use wood to heat our home ♡

This is what happiness is about, working together. Everything I do in life is with my husband, yes we argue, but we both know life without each other would be so PAINFULL. Money does not buy you happiness, ofcourse we have to have it to survive, but do not need 4 cars, a big house, going out to eat all the time….No life is being home, making the best of what you have. I could not imagine life without him. This couple shows us just that.

So peaceful and beautiful! Those two are a lot healthier than a large percentage of 40 year olds who live in the city. Stress, bad food and lack of exercise definitely make a difference! Clean air, hard work. They are the fortunate ones 🙂

This darling couple and their life , represents everything that which I yearned and yearn for . The goodness and contentment , the honesty and happiness of simple living on the land - together . Estamos en un mundo tan superficial que cuando uno ve estos documentales ves la verdadera felicidad pq solo necesitas lo fundamental ...tienen ganado..leña..agua...comida en su mesa ..calor d hogar y felices...y nosotros tenemos d todo g.a.d...y aún así no somos felices......un mundo muy opuesto ...una pena que no sepamos valorar las cosas sencillas que son las que realmente importan en esta vida....me encanta el documental ...admiro enormemente a esta pareja....son un claro ejemplo d amor ..lucha...y humildad.... Its the simple life, hard life at their ages with the longer winters that eastern europe tends to produce, but I bet that place and countryside is absolutely beautiful in the spring and summer months. Lovely couple, the lady reminds me facially of my Grandmother who is long gone bless her.

Наши родители тоже жили в доме в посёлке после, как выщли на пенсию, имели корову, овец, куры ,После стало им тяжело вести хозяйство и переехали жить в квартиру, какие были они труженики до конца дней своих, Мы приезжали только в отпуск на месяц, Здравия вам и долгой жизни!!!!

You cannot miss what you’ve never had , so they are living their best life. Many of us grew up in a simple life but dreamed of, what we thought was a better life, only to realize we ran to a hectic, stressful work day of 15 hrs. Crazy

I see a pure loving blessed senior couple having a simple life with nice meals together, without worrying to take medication before starting each meal. doing daily chores together every day. Wonderful peaceful life. Many out there before reaching the age of this couple already need people to take care of their daily living. Medication, monthly follow up checkups. It's depends on cases if stroke patients or wheelchair, more care needed. Not many got the chance to live like this couple.

Being elderly too I very much enjoyed this film. I like their kitchen. The man gets plenty of excercise. No need for a gym. Self sustaining the best life. Awesome.
