I am actually on this same challenge right now. Last night, I got this boss on a run where I was doing full houses... I bought riff raff before boss, I got the joker that gives + mult for diamonds and I literally drew a full house with like 3 diamonds in it! I still lost like next round though lol

It actually wasn't even close to the worst play in the video, not even joking. I don't think that was that bad, he had to take some risks, that run was cooked anyways. The crazy thing is how hard he tried to throw the last run, when he literally got the god seed. He won in spite of not paying attention to campfire on a new blind. That could have been a death sentence.

a flush with high cards on the first blind needs at least three face cards/10s/9s. Straight flush, high straight, and four of a kind will always get you there. Full house with high cards will get you there.

In Jokerless, you can't just draw a high-card hand to a no discards boss and lose. You also have better deck and hand's stats in jokerless.

@@gsdgsdgdhsadds It's the only one hand per round that put it over the edge for me. I was lucky and got burnt joker, wee joker, and ride the bus and those 3 were a good base that carried me to the end. Jokerless is real nasty though!

This one might be tougher. I dunno, it's a toss up. Jokerless is rouuuugh but at least you can mess around with buffing your cards. One hand continually with discards debuffed is just brutal

Genuinely you need a lucky card pack to build around. Like a polychrome or red seal early or restart.
