I tried this one this week and failed miserably - I reached #16, but that was 3 hours after the start, so it's worth nothing. Your run looks quite messy, but I imagine a lot of planning is needed to get it all to work out. Mad respect!

The coolant cannister makes things so messy but ALSO gives such an easier access to the barge... It's almost annoying to think you have to sprinkle the bay with aluminum like that! You made it work though, congrats! Did you change your setting btw? Feels like your game looks much darker than mine and I'm wondering if I'm just seeing things

Yeah I'm kind of gambling with the coolant thing. It's a lot of setup that I'm not entirely sure pays itself off but hey, points for style right? As for the settings, I haven't touched them in a long time. I don't think there's even a way to change the brightness in-game at the moment.

Nice trick opening up the interior with the coolant canister. I think I'm too OCD for that. Maybe that's my niche: "How well can someone with OCD do in the RACE?" I saw you chuck the entire sensor array down to the barge and got credit for the attached antenna and comm array. Does that work for other attached items like the ECU and its computer panel?

It's a little random whether the barge properly counts all of the items in a cluster. For it to work, several barge slots need to be open and all the items in a cluster need to touch those slots at some point before any of those items are locked in by the barge's stasis field. That's why I launch the towers downward at high velocity -- to give all the pieces enough speed to trick the barge into capturing all the pieces. You can actually see at the end of this run that the terminal on the ECU failed to get captured and I had to yank it off and find a barge slot for it.

That's brings me to an idea - stream to each other, and commentate what the other is doing ;) I for sure was wondering at quite a few points why you did it, then later found answers ;) But I didn't even notice there were noises.

@@klaernie I'd rather keep my videos silent, but Clowns streams on Twitch (www.twitch.tv/clownscorp ) and he interacts with his chat pretty often. I was just streaming to him as a special thing because I was on the verge of a breakthrough.

@@GophTheGreat I was probably hoping just for a bit of professional banter among expert cutters ;) I meant it not as a regular thing, but rather a special occasional event. So, I have to go now and subscribe and watch some channels.
