Definitely a helpful video - especially the wrinkle concerning the smart alternator.

Dude your the man!! I’ve been dealing with this problem for the last year as well I just figured it was just something I had to deal with having a smart charger. Thanks for doing the leg work much appreciated.

Thanks for the video. I’ve been searching for a nice explanation like this. Nice job.

I recently got a Transit Trail. An Anker 767 should be arriving any day, so this info could be very useful. Today I connected a Bluetooth monitor to CCP1 on the seat base. I know very little about electrical systems and hoping a power station like the Anker will be adequate--and a lot simpler.

Thanks for the great instructions. I just picked up our new Ford Transit High Top AWD. We already have the Goal Zero 3000X. I was just getting ready to order the Goal Zero Yeti Link Car Charger Kit Version 2. Had to order from REI because Goal Zero was temporarily sold out. Anyway, Where did you buy the neat side mountain graphics for your van ?

I had them custom done by a local vinyl wrap shop

I also have this issue but not on a ford. Is there an universal bypass for this issue?

I can't comment to that honestly I just know this is how I had to get around it with the Ford. Best to call goal zero and your auto manufacturer if they have a builder or engineering tech group

I ended up picking up a lightly used ropfnest falcon XL and built a wrack for it and it's on top of the van
