It’s amazing what you all got accomplished this year. I am amazed at what I did when I look back. I started a KZfaq channel, posted over 60 videos, milled over 2000 board of lumber, acquired my 12-22 and STK-24 … it was a great year!

Thanks Jeff, you’ve had a productive year as well. One of the huge benefits of running a channel is being able to look back at what you’ve done!

Hard to Balance Work and KZfaq. You guys are doing well in this area. Super Hard to plan because of things like weather, health and other unexpected scenarios! You guys will hit 20k for sure. Keep up the good work!

Yes it is, everyone around us is getting sick right now. I told Rachel, that can’t happen. I don’t have time to be sick. If only we could retire and do KZfaq full time! One day!

Don’t know where to start so much to talk about. I’ll try to keep it short. 😂 first I’ll say the podcasts are great you guys have very interesting conversation that I can relate to 👍. I believe your channel does so well cause you’re so passionate about what you’re doing ..knowing what it takes and how much time and effort to put into Content creation it’s pretty impressive what you guys are able to accomplish especially with full-time jobs and a family 👏. It was a lot of fun doing the wood chopping challenge, and everybody else involved. It was very much appreciated you mentioning our channel as much as you do ! Congratulations on your channel growth no doubt in my mind it’s going over 20 K subscribers in 2024. Hope you guys have a safe and happy new year !

Thank you Tom, we love being able to help people and this channel affords us a lot of opportunities to do that. Whether it’s mentioning other channels, helping people make the best decisions on purchases, showing different ways to do things, how not to do things sometimes, or just entertaining people, we’re having fun with it. We’ve also met a lot of great people along the way! Appreciate the feedback!

had my Hardy Outdoor boiler for 24 years now. When it was installed we asked them to not hook it up to our hotwater tank. We get our hotwater straight from the boiler. Good and bad. Bad is that now we have to have boiler going in summer- to get hot water for showers. Good- is that we have hot scalding water! The installer said he would not do this if we had kids in the house, as water to hot. We dont have kids, so they installed it as we ask. Now, for showers, turn cold water on wide open, and barley turn on hot water for showers. Totally backwards from when we didnt have boiler! We love ours. LOVE your channel, thanks for vids ! Central NC here ! Update- I commented before finish watching video, lol. I'm selling my New Eastonmade 22/28, to get an Axsis :) , as I hear you sold your eastonmade as well
@hardworkingmanoutdoors5 ай бұрын
That’s awesome, we had a loop put in to shut off the heat exchanger so we can keep burning scrap all summer for hot water as we use a lot of it! Hopefully we get a few years out of this one! So far we’re really liking it. Can’t go wrong with either the 22-28 or the Axis. We just did a video touching on the strengths of each style that should be out soon. You’ll have to let me know what you think.

Here in Southwestern PA, we have used a heat pump, for fifty years, backed up by electric heaters or our wood stove. We don't need the wood stove until the temp. drops to around 32 degrees. As for giving up my 12-22?: "From my cold dead hands." LOL Shalom/gw
@hardworkingmanoutdoors5 ай бұрын
We hear 90% with wood and now adding the boiler to the mix may not need propane at all! I definitely didn’t want to part with the 12-22 but we have a lot of options right now so we’ll be okay.
