my friend/gf of 20 years died of heart attack last thursday and this song fits her-perfect timing-yes I have tears running down cheeks but that will continue for long time I fear- ty for reaction-always in my memories- Gerri...she was 52-good song and good voice too

Check out "Drink One for Me", the same story , but from the other perspective. The album that this is from was his first full length release, but you'd think it was a greatest hits collection because it's so solid from front to back.

Hey if u think this is good check out his song ' Wait in the teuck '!!!! That is my sing that i lived!!!!! The song is about a man who comes across a women in a road who was a victim of Domestic Violence abuse and what he did for her in her honor! It is THE BEST SONG IVE EVER came across that is about REAL LIFE! YES! I lived this and unfortunately he only got 3 yrs PROBATION after he nearly killed me broke my back in 4 places and shattered my skull with a crowbar after violating a Domestic Violence order 2 times in 3 days!!!! I am forever shattered n with a Tramadic brain injury and can't walk! I never got justice n I wished I had someone like this in my corner!!! Glad to know there r actual men out there who would do this for a woman
