4:12 that's actually how it happens in the LN. The chapter ends with him throwing up, and then the first bit of dialogue in the next chapter is when Roxy is being carried as you see here. Not too much was actually left out in this episode, and there's actually a bit of anime original stuff (Roxy and Rudeus shoppping, the two of them in the bar, and the "two swords" bit from Paul). I kinda wish they kept in the bit where Roxy asks Rudeus if the spell he used to save her was the Emperor-tier spell "Absolute Zero." She says she thought it was because of how fast it was, and how it completely froze all the monsters. 13:50 given that teleportation isn't instant, even if he's not teleporting far, it's probably going to take more than a couple seconds, so it would be hard for him to use his demon eye to see that far ahead (he gets a headache if he tries to look too far, probably because the different possibilities start to increase exponentially).

Having read the novel he had absolutely no intention to cheat on Sylphie, he views Roxy through a worship filter for the gratitude he feels for helping him overcome his fear of people and didn't even consider Roxy as a partner. Also don't EVER consider the advice of man god as "the way things are supposed to go" that's all I'll say to not spoil anything.

The best way to actually not spoil anything is to not say anything at all. Not that it matters now, pretty sure a bunch of commenter have already instilled doubt. You'd have to be an anime protagonist to not see the signs at this point.

@@Nil-js4bf kinda disagree, I think the best way is to throw tiny crumbs to get the person more curious, it's even better when you can phrase things ambiguously enough to lead them to a different conclusion than the twist cause then when the twist happens it is most likely to catch them off guard, depending on how you do it you can through "spoiling" make a twist more impactful cause you lead the other person away from the route the story will take while also piquing their interest about how will the thing you told them about play out.

@@Drakno2 I disagree, it's hubris to assume that you can enhance the author's work by dropping additional hints. But sure, everyone has different preferences so who are we to say one thing is superior to another. At the end of the day, dealing with spoilers is part of the job of reactors and it's up to them to balance audience engagement and keeping their experience spoiler free. If he was concerned with spoilers, he won't read comments.

No, in fact, it was blow downs walls and running completely in a straight line xD, It's literally the hero's destiny trying to be born that makes Roxy not die first and secondly Rudeus finds her immediately. Currently, destiny doesn't allow either of them to die and it attracts them like magnets.

Actually not, after some time the bacterial flora would eat up most of the bad bacteries that makes up the bad smell. She probably smelled mostly like her sweat and with it like her pheromones.

7:26 I think its a good choice to have him say some wild shit in his head, we all are guilty of that sometimes, but in Rudy's case he has no filter in his head, so we are getting an unfiltered look at what his influences and media consumption was while being a shut-in who thought he had no future. The fact that he is showing self-control is the important part, it will take a whole lot longer for his entire personality to shift. But of course it uncomfortable to listen to sometimes

Ghislaine always makes poor choices with more complicated things but whenever they had 2 choices of a doors or something like that they always trust Ghislaine's gut and it was almost always right. They really went about 90% true to the novel with this episode, kinda saw it miles away since they skipped some parts in the Begaritt journey, just so they can plan this episode out to be as accurate as the source. Stuff I can remember that wasn't explained was only their party formation and Paul's sword on his left hand. Also, it seems that Rudeus ain't escaping l*licon allegations yet again, I can smell the drama like how one can recognize the scent of incoming rain.

try to imagine, your are in a dangerous situation, similar to a horror film like aliens or predator. now lets say one of the characters always says "oh golly, i cant wait to get back to my wife and kids, hu-hyuck!" who do you think is going to die first? yea, rudy feels the same way, he already mentioned it to paul about the "famous last words" thing, so i think he is waiting for everything to end for him to speak up and tell roxy about his wife and kids... ...at least that's what i think.
