About a good 90% of the legends of this have gone to glory. RIP to Richard Pryor, Della Reese, Tommy Ford, Danny Aiello, Charlie Murphy, Redd Foxx, Reynaldo Rey, Robin Harris, and others. Harlem Nights is an absolute gem of entertainment. Mr. Murphy you truly made a marvelous masterpiece. Salute.

Can't forget snaggle tooth...R.I.P Ji-Tu Cumbuka 🙏🏿 My grandmother keep all westerns and old shows on her TV all the time, look at me in the Old TV sitcoms....He was real popular in a NBC series in the late 70s and early '80s called "A Man Called Sloane" his character name was (Torque) if that brings back some memories for you guys 😂 "Maurie" a film about NBA player Maurice Stokes ...He played Oscar Robertson I'm into all these old films so I may be taking you off the trail or way back before your time 😂🤙🏿 my bad I know you all remember Brewster's millions about 1984 and 1985 with John candy in it, 🤣 Now because I pay very close attention to hints in characters phrases and I'm aware this was the period in which you could play multiple roles in films and they'd still be good films! Ji-Tu Cumbuka also was in Brewster's millions lol ... If you remember he played the role as (Melvin) the black security guard at the bank 😉😂✊🏿 Mention if you watch Sanford and Son's or Roots he was in all that the guy played a good supporting role that is for sure 🙏🏿

What makes this scene so authentic is that many of us had been around old schoolers who would drink and talk trash while playing spades, poker, dominoes, etc. This scene felt too real and you damn near felt like it wasn't even acting.

I remember I found this movie when I was like 8 yrs old and I was watching it and my mom came in the room and I thought I was gonna get my ass beat for watching a rated R movie but she sat down and started watching it with me and she knew all the scenes and we were laughing our ass off. That was the first time I looked at my mom like she was a normal person and not just my mom. I was thinking like my mom is pretty cool if she know this movie.

Cast of all time greats in comedy. Critics said this movie was horrible. Now it is considered a classic. We could have probably gotten a sequel if they had kept their Trout mouth shut. SMH. Mad props to Eddie for letting Richard get his shine. So much talent here the movie could have went on endlessly.

Kid version of Quick seemed A LOT harder and tougher than the adult version imo. I remember watching this movie as a kid and I never realized this kid was suppose to be Eddie's character younger lol. I remember asking my mom what happened to the kid and she explained that it was Eddie when he was young etc.
